We've come across two aerial photos of the Danbury Rail Yard and Danbury Union Station that seem to date from the late 1960's or early 1970's. One was taken looking east, one looking west. At the top of the west-looking photo, Interstate 84 can be seen under construction. Each photo contains the caption: "Flown for W. H. Ballard Co. Inc."
If anyone can provide a better date for the photos, please contact the DRM library or send e-mail to Rick Simpson (simpson@watson.ibm.com).
Portions of the complete 8x10-inch photos are shown here (each complete photo is nearly a megabyte, and so they haven't been made available for downloading).
