SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
Student performances of the Summer Bands, Chorus, West Afrikan Drumming, and Strings.
Classes began meeting on Monday, July 9th.

Sunday  October 21 . . . Events occur throughout the day at various locations.
The Annual Celebration of
Charles Ives Day
The Unanswered Question
A hike up Pine Mountain, a tour around the Ives birth home,
a grave site visit, and some musical "happenings". The day
will end with a performance of  Ives' The Unanswered Question
and some well known (and not so well known) songs.
The performance will take place at the top of the Bardo Parking
Garage on Library Place, behind the Danbury Music Centre.

  9:30am    Hike up Pine Mountain (meet near the top of Pine Mountain Rd., Danbury)
12:00pm    Visit the Charles Ives birth home on Mountainville Ave. (meet at the home)
  1:30pm    Visit Charles Ives' grave site in Wooster Cemetery (meet in section M , off of Ellsworth Ave.)
  3:00pm    A musical presentation on the top floor of the Bardo Parking Garage.

Larry Deming and Nancy F. Sudik, are the organizers and guides.

Contact the DMC if you are going on the Hike up Pine Mountain
so we have a count before Sunday morning.

    Zoe was one of the finalists in the 2012 Student Concerto Contest.
    He is a 3rd grade violin prodigy from Sandy Hook.

    with adults welcomed in certain groups.
    Dates, times, and locations to be announced for student performances
    of the A Cappella Class, Bands, West Afrikan Drumming, and Strings.

    Class registration usually takes place in May and June.
