The New York Chamber
Ensemble, first heard here in 1996 in an all-American program, returns this season bringing music with a Spanish accent. This large ensemble consisting of 14 strings and winds will feature the works of Brahms, Rimsky-Korsakov, De Falla, and Carlos Surinach, an American composer of Spanish origin. Founded in 1987, the New York Chamber Ensemble has been acclaimed by audiences and critics alike for its innovative programming and virtuosi performances.
