After crossing paths at music festivals and performing together in different ensembles, clarinetist Anthony McGill, string player Michael Tree , and pianist Anna Polonsky have come together to explore the rich (and under-represented) repertoire for clarinet, piano, and viola or violin. The Schumann Trio is garnering praise for its rich, beautiful sound, restrained passion, and natural expressiveness.

An unforeseen schedule conflict has made it necessary to change the Schumann Trio’s original concert date (March 31, 2012, at 8 p.m.) to March 18, 2012, at 3 p.m. (Please note that this will be an afternoon performance.)
