Orli Shaham has established an impressive international reputation as one of today’s most gifted pianists. Winner of two of the most prestigious prizes given to further the development of outstanding talent, the Gilmore Young Artists Award (1995) and the Avery Fisher Career Grant (1997), Ms Shaham has been recognized as an exceptional artist since age 5, when she was awarded her first scholarship for musical study. Her recent seasons have included successful debuts with the Cleveland and Philadelphia orchestras and an American tour as soloist with the Jerusalem Symphony. In addition to her many solo recitals, including a recent one at Caramoor, Ms Shaham has made several extended duo-recital tours of Europe and North America with her brother, the renowned violinist Gil Shaham.
