Windscape, woodwind quintet
Formerly known as the New York Wind Soloists, Windscape is a woodwind ensemble consisting of flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and French horn. Created in 1994 by five leading instrumentalists, the group has delighted audiences throughout the U.S. with its dazzling talent, fresh and innovative programs and illuminating commentary. These five engaging musicians present a wide range of repertoire - from Beethoven to Bernstein - in dynamic and entertaining new ways.
