Our Fall Book Sale is an annual event the entire community looks forward to. Thanks to the generosity of our book donors, it has been our most successful fund-raiser.

Please help us make our next book sale successful, too. Grab a couple of empty boxes and sort through your shelves and cupboards for books, videos, DVDs and audio books to donate to the FRIENDS of the Danbury Library.

If you have more than one big box of books, please send us an email or call us at (203)797-4568, and someone will contact you and arrange for a convenient drop-off time. Smaller donations can be brought to the library and deposited in the book bin inside the Bank Street entrance (to the right of the FRIENDS door).

We accept encyclopedias and medical and business books no more than 5 years old, along with textbooks no more than 3 years old, and computer books no more than 2 years old. Please do NOT donate Reader's Digest condensed books.

Donation receipts are available at the Lending Services desk.
