Nine regular meetings are held each year. There are no meetings in December, July and August. Each regular meeting consists of a business session and a program on one of a wide variety of topics, usually presented by an outside speaker.

September 21, 2012 – Danbury Museum and Historical Society, 43 Main Street, Danbury – 9:30 a.m. regular meeting – Harvest Market – bring plants, garden and design related goods, tools for sale. Also garden produce and baked goods are welcome – proceeds to benefit the Danbury Garden Club charities.
Guest speaker at 11:00 a.m. – “Native Plants, Winter Interest” – Lisa and Kyle Turoczi, owners of Earth Tones in Woodbury, CT.
October 19, 2012 – Danbury Museum and Historical Society, 10:00 a.m. regular meeting.
Guest speaker at 11:00 a.m. – "Role of Phosphorus in our Environment and Lakes" – Larry Marsciano, Executive Director of the Candlewood Authority.
November 16, 2012 – Amber Room Colonnade, Stacey Road, Danbury – registration at 9:45 a.m., program at 11:00 a.m., luncheon at 1:00 p.m. Holiday Program – "Purely for Pleasure - Holiday Style” – A program of traditional and creative designs featuring American and European influences – Penny Decker, National Garden Club Designer – Program only $25 – Program and luncheon $45 with a choice of chicken, salmon or vegetarian. January 18, 2013 – Danbury Museum and Historical Society, 10:00 a.m. regular meeting.
Guest speaker at 11:00 a.m. – "Organic Farming” Dina Brewster of The Hickories Organic Farm in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
February 15, 2013 – Danbury Museum and Historical Society, 10:00 a.m. regular meeting.
Guest speaker at 11:00 a.m. – "Birds of Prey" Six birds including a Golden Eagle. Wing master Julie Anne Collier. Julie is a licensed Massachusetts-based bird of prey rehabilitator.
March 15, 2013 - Danbury Museum and Historical Society, 10:00 a.m. regular meeting.
Guest speaker at 11:00 a.m. – “Elegant Silvers: Striking Plants for Every Garden.” Karen Bussolini is a long time gardener, trained as a painter and had a career in architectural and garden photography.
April 19, 2013 – Hatters Park, 10:00 a.m. regular meeting.
Guest speaker at 11:00 a.m. – "Elegant Spring" Peter Stephens. Peter is a professional horticulturist and floral designer and is the owner of Elegant Effects, From Grand Affairs to Intimate Gatherings. There will be a demonstration and raffle of five floral designs.
May 17, 2013 – Danbury Museum and Historical Society, 10:00 a.m. regular meeting.
Guest speaker at 11:00 a.m. – Ronnie Schoelzel "Grow for Show" – How to prepare container-grown plants and cut specimens for exhibit in flower shows, and how to groom and transport exhibits. Ronnie Schoelzel is the President of the Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut.
