The Executive Director provides effective leadership and management of the human and financial resources of the Danbury Music Centre (DMC) consistent with the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors in order to achieve the Music Centre’s mission and vision. The Executive Director is responsible and accountable for all aspects of the organization including: planning, operations, program implementation, budgeting and financial management, marketing, public relations, and community engagement. The Executive Director must be an articulate advocate for the value and importance of classical music for the greater Danbury community. The Executive Director serves as the chief operating officer, and reports to the Board of Directors through the Board President.
