National Association of Pastoral Musicians
Bridgeport Chapter
The National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM) is an organization for anyone who recognizes and supports the value of musical liturgy. We are choir directors, organists, guitarists, pianists, instrumentalists of all kinds, presiders, cantors, and pastoral liturgists. We are members of contemporary ensembles, handbell choirs, and choral groups. Some of our members are young people in high school and college, while some are veteran directors of music ministries.
Our next Chapter Meeting will be on Monday, April 28th at 7:30pm at St. Philip Church, Norwalk featuring Sr. Carol Perry speaking on the Psalms. Invite your cantors and choir members!
Sr. Carol is Resident Bible Scholar at New York City's historic Marble Collegiate Church. She leads studies of the BIble in Marble's adult education program and in business locations throughout Manhattan as part of the church's Spirituality in the Workplace outreach. Sr. Carol has lectured widely on biblical topics and has led retreats and days of reflection in the United States and in Canada. She is a member of the Sisters of St. Ursula of Tours.
