SENDING OF THE CATECHUMENS
FOR ELECTION
FIRST SUNDAY OF
LENT

Today, our parish faith community sends forth our Catechumens
and Candidates to be presented to Bishop Lori.
|
|
|
|
The RCIA team has the responsibility of confirming the Candidates
readiness. |
|
Fr. Arrando questions RCIA team about the readiness of
the candidates.
“Have they excelled in their desire to come to know God our Father
and his son Jesus Christ?”
“Do you judge these candidates to be ready to be presented to the
diocese for the rite of election?”

Found to be ready, we gladly recommend our Candidates in
the name of Jesus, to be called to the Easter sacraments.
