Good Friend matches adult volunteers to children ages 7 to 14, from one-parent families in the Greater Danbury area, much like Big Brother/Sister.
The children served by Good Friend generally have little or no contact with their absent parent. The children are in need of:
No experience is necessary to be a volunteer. Good Friend provides monthly volunteer training. Here's what some of your volunteers have to say about their involvement:
