At its May meeting,
session approved establishing a preservation committee that will address issues
and policies surrounding proper record keeping for historical purposes, and
Disaster Preparedness of records, staff and members.
At the March presentation
in Stony Point, there were several important issues raised regarding restoration
and the actual preparedness guidelines. It was felt that over the summer would
be a good time to start to gather members that might be interested in serving on
the committee, distribute information
Available, seek advice from
professionals that might be friends or relatives of members and develop a
structure for the committee.

A video was taken of the
youth service and a DVD has been made from it. It is available for viewing by
signing it out with either the church office or me.
Displays this month will be
for men of the church Sunday and our 25th anniversary. If you have
any items that date from 1982, please feel free to bring them and put them with
the display.
