Youth Reacting To AIDS

Four YRTA members participated in a parent-child communication workshop at Brookfield High School on Monday, February 4, 2002.  This well attended workshop focused on how parents can talk with their teens about sexuality and HIV/AIDS related issues.  After a video presentation, parents and YRTA members discussed strategies to build and keep a healthy on going communication about these critical issues.  A health teacher, the school nurse and YRTA advisors, Mio and Sasha, were also among the panel participants.
